Less than 1/8 teaspoon is all that I will need, and any ash that isn't used in creating your memorial will be carefully repackaged and returned to you with your completed piece.

If you are able to make it to my studio in person I will respectfully gather the ash for your memorial from the urn or vessel. Once your memorial is complete just bring urn along when you pick up your piece, and I will return any unused ash into its original container. In some instances, funeral homes can assist with the separation of a small amount of ash.

I can certainly commingle multiple sets of ash in a memorial bead. 

The typical turnaround times is two weeks from the time I receive the ash.

Yes, I can absolutely create a memorial using hair / fur. Please keep in mind that the result is much more subtle than ash.
